As a child of Cuban immigrants who fled the country due to communism, Our Lady of Charity or Cachita as she is affectionately called has always been a part of my life. Although I have never set foot on the island, La Caridad del Cobre has been a link to my heritage and I wanted to depict her on a sticker to bring her closer to others.
