Detente Scapular of the Sacred Heart of Jesus – Catholic Sacramental, Catholic devotion.

The Detente is a sacramental , a holy reminder of the constant protection and guidance of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This is the story behind these scapulars:In 1870, Pope Pius IX said this about the Detente: “It is a heavenly thought: It does come from Heaven. I give my blessing to this Heart and I want all those who conform to this model to receive this same blessing without needing any other. Furthermore, I want the devil to have no power over those who carry this Heart.”  Pope Pius IX granted 100 days of indulgence to those who carry the Detente. *  It’s a sign of fidelity to the Heart of Jesus Christ.*  It’s Is a coat of arms that ennobles us.*  It’s a wall that defends us.*  It’s a magnet that draws the eyes and thanks of Jesus on us.*  It’s a lightning rod that removes from us the punishments of God.*  It’s a perennial prayer for us of Jesus, supplicating to the Father.*  It’s a heart that beats next to ours.*  It shows the heroism of the devotees of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. *Latin for “release from tension”. Also known as the Cease Scapular. This beautiful scapular was handmade with love and prayer. I created the original design (no two alike) using different fabrics and embroidery stitches. I used mostly repurposed materials.This scapular has several layers of different fabrics and the embroidered design on top was created by me. The Sacred Heart of Jesus was made with felt and embroidery floss . I used some gold thread, specialty thread and different embroidery floss to embellish it. On the back are my initials and the Detente prayer in French, Spanish or English( Cease, the Heart of Jesus is with me).It measures 3″in diameter.Keep the Sacred Hearts of Jesus close to your heart ❤️‍��
